How To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing?

There are two different ways you can make money from affiliate marketing. You can promote and sell digital products, physical products, or both.

Digital products include eBooks, video courses and membership websites that can be used online or downloaded directly by the customer. Physical products are delivered to the customer's front door. For example, many people choose to promote items from Amazon to receive a commission. There are also many other retailers that will share a commission with you if you promote their products.

Facebook : Are You Working Your Business Page Like You Should Be?

The two most visited websites are Google and Facebook and the second one is seen as the "must have" asset for businesses. Why? Because Facebook is a tool that lets you connect with your potential customers directly and almost personally. It is the B2C connection because customers can have a direct means of contacting a business.

When it comes to B2B connecting, though, marketers still haven't adopted the social site. Why? Well, the effectiveness seems to be missing. But that may be that businesses haven't learned how to market Facebook properly.

So if you don't have a Facebook page for your company, or you aren't seeing anything significant coming from your page, the question is, are you marketing your Facebook page to fullest possibility?
Let's take a look at a few things you need to be doing to use this dynamic platform to increase brand awareness among other businesses, especially your competitors and vendors.

Re-Engage Your Email Subscribers

The point of an email list is to engage with the people on it, and to build a relationship with each person. Ultimately the point of the relationship is to make sales - either to the person on the list, or through them to people they know.

That said, if a person on your list is not engaging with you by at least opening your emails (hopefully reading the content and clicking on the links) at least some of the time, you're wasting your effort and their time by continuing to email them. You should periodically "wash" your email list by attempting to re-engage with the individuals and, if that doesn't work, removing them from your list. A small, dedicated and engaged audience is better than a larger audience that doesn't give a damn about you.

This describes a re-engagement sequence. I use this sequence for my own lists, as well as the lists of my clients. You can build a sequence in every major Email Service Provider/list management tool.

5 Steps To Creating and Marketing Your First Webinar

If you've never created a webinar before, the thought of webinar marketing can be really intimidating. You're probably wondering...

  • How will I work out the technical aspects of holding a webinar?
  • How do I give people access to the webinar?
  • What platform should I use for hosting the webinar?
  • What should the webinar be about, anyway?
  • How do I get people to attend my webinar?
Don't worry! While webinars are certainly more technically involved than other types of content marketing, once you get the first one under your belt you'll be off to the races.

Here are five easy steps to creating and marketing your very first webinar:

1. Get hyper-specific on a niche topic
The phrase "go big or go home" does not apply to webinars. That is, you don't want to try and cover a broad topic in a single webinar, and leave your audience with a grand overview but no specific takeaways.

Since webinars are typically under an hour in length, it's important to deliver valuable, actionable tips and strategies within the allotted time.

Instead of holding a webinar on "gardening," for example, you might hold a webinar on a specific topic such as "Top 10 Tips Tor Harvesting Tomatoes In The Gall," or "How To Plant Sunflower Seeds In Dry Soil."

6 ways LinkedIn will help your business

LinkedIn is one of the niche social media channels and it is designed as a professional networking tool as opposed to the personal and more informal platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest and even Twitter. Small to mid range companies in particular find it extremely effective in creating a solid network and business relationships that will increase their share of the market.

But how does a platform geared towards making business connections work in terms of promoting your business?  We’re going to look at six strategies that will ensure your LinkedIn presence truly pays off.

1. Make Valuable Connections
Like any social networking site, the ultimate goal of LinkedIn is to connect people. Giving you access to new leads or new business associates will help bring about potential opportunities you may have not had access to. Get started by searching for friends and associates based on your email contacts but by no means stop there. You want to get to know people you don’t already know. Start looking at LinkedIn Groups and connect to people in your industry or your location.  You can also use the Advanced Search option to target a specific market and find people, companies and industries of interest by keyword.  You can also search for specific companies and job titles should you aim to market your products or services to a very specific audience.

Social Media Tips - Why you should use Images with your posts.

A Picture Is Worth A 1,000 Words, You Need Them In Your Posts

You've heard the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words". I'm sure there are quite a few pictures out there like that, but when it comes to a blog post, that isn't always the case.

Even so, you want to make sure your posts are visually appealing and attention grabbing. And good pictures are a great way to accomplish that.

A Picture Can Draw Readers In

A picture will draw readers in and make them read your blog posts. Don't believe me? Have a look at some of the major news sites, big blogs or even your Facebook feed. It's the pictures that grab your attention in combination with the post title.

Try to find an image that tells the story of your post. The image should tell at a glance (with the help of the post title) what the blog post is all about. Of course you're not limited to just one image. If it fits the topic, grab a few to illustrate what you're talking about or show step-by-step progress.

Leverage the Organic Power of Facebook for your Online Marketing

I started out on Facebook just as almost everyone else did. I opened an account, started finding other friends on the site and start communicating with them mostly by - I guess you could call it - Blog posting as a lot of what Facebook is really about at its base is a social platform - a blog site.
I was starting an online business and my initial focus when getting going was to write some articles, publish them to get known and then build them into books and market them on Amazon-Kindle. I did not have much more of a strategy than that in the beginning - I had just always wanted to write and publish a book. A bucket list item.

As I began to delve in further into the world of Facebook - and this spans time - over the last couple of years in fact - I became aware of just how powerful this platform really is from a business and product marketing perspective. And I have learned a lot about the platform to date - yet I am constantly learning more things I can do on it to further my brand awareness and even close sales right on the platform itself. With this in mind, I want to share with you some ideas for using Facebook that you may not have thought of. Here is an initial list of ideas to get you started.

What You're Doing Wrong In Your Small Business Or As An Entrepreneur

Business owners and entrepreneurs are not always good at asking for help. Be honest, when did you last reach out to someone? Perhaps this is the reason why they are entrepreneurs in the first place. Business owners are self motivated and self reliant. But if you're operating a business in this way, it could be the one thing which stands in the way of progress.

Entrepreneurs are hard workers too and will work hard in areas which many people wouldn't consider. They look forward to the long term effects of their actions rather than for immediate rewards. Often business owners have built up their businesses over many years of difficulties and sacrifice.

However, thinking into the cause and effects of all this work there is one thing in common: you. As the 'owner' of a business it can be easy to become complacent. Perhaps business growth isn't what it should be? You are always the limiting factor in your life. Unless you are growing, your business isn't.

If you keep operating from the belief that you know everything, you will always keep getting the same results in your business, and in your life. Growing in awareness and developing your self along with your business is what smart entrepreneurs do.

The Rise Of Instagram And What It Can Do For Your Business

Why use Instagram?

Since 2010, Instagram has proved itself to be the fastest growing social media platform around! It has a user base of around 300 million and that is set to rise further. So why is this seemingly simple app growing so quickly? Well it all comes down to creativity really, Instagram have found new ways of sharing content across its platform and making users experience more seamless. For example, Instagram stories were launched to rival Snapchat, allowing for users to provide disappearing pictures or videos.

Sounds simple right? Well that's because it is. Instagram now has more sway over all its users who may have been using Snapchat in tandem to its own app, reducing the need to use both and stream lining these users to its own services.

Grab our free Social Media checklist and free training here

This aggressive tactic has paid off as Instagram has surpassed Snapchat in users. Instagram stories also encourage more sharing of content and giving it a chat element to its app, allowing it to compete with all the other direct messaging platforms. Innovation like this is the reason for Instagram's sudden growth.

What's all the fuss about Instagram?

Improving Your Google AdWords PPC Campaign Results

Previously, I have discussed why Google SEO is an important task to complete prior to undertaking Google AdWords pay-per-click advertising campaigns. If you were to watch Google AdWords tutorials themselves, they will tell you that where you place in a search result on their system when doing AdWords PPC advertising is a resulting combination of your bid price on a keyword phrase combined with your Quality Score - and this is defined by them as "useful information" to the consumer which means, in essence, how much they like your site and its content.

There is a lot of competition these days to get to Page One on a Google search engine paid search and to get there, you need to both outbid others and Google needs to like your site in relation to the end-user keyword phrase searching being done through their search engine.

As you learn more about using Google AdWords to promote your business, you will also learn about their "Google Ad Extension" features which, if you implement them for your promotional ads, will increase your quality score and will give your site a stronger argument in Google's eyes for getting to Page One of a Google paid search.

Email Marketing: Do You Want To Triple Your Return On Investment?

One of the biggest mistakes most marketers do nowadays, is think email marketing is dead. Many marketers today drop the email marketing scheme to go with social media. Come to think of it, social media look much more sexy than email. But, is a social media post really as effective as an email? Before we answer that question, lets state a well-known fact. It is easier to send a friend request on Facebook than to collect an email online. But believe me, email marketing is thrice as worth it as social media marketing. So, what is email marketing?

Email marketing is the targeting of customers through emails. Every emails sent to a potential customers can be considered as email marketing. Email marketing involves sending a promotional email or an ad to a subscriber. Via his email address. A great deal of organisations today use email marketing. Even more bloggers do use email marketing today than ever before. For example, have you ever been browsing on a website, and you see some field where you are asked to submit your name and email to get a free eBook or update? That is the front part of email marketing.

Most bloggers use email marketing because it enhances the customer experience. With a well targeted email list, you can reach established customers and prospective ones too. Any given subscriber will be informed better and more easily via email. The email will have a greater visibility than a Facebook post. The Facebook post will be drowned in a stream of content in the minutes following its posting.

Do You Really Need Email Marketing?
If you want to improve your customers' or readers' experience, then you need email marketing. Forget about the glamour and the flashy of social media marketing. We are talking efficiency here. We are talking greater engagement. Greater reach.  Greater click through rate and more. As many experienced marketers say, " the money is in the list". Some even say "your net worth depends on your network". In the following lines, I will explain the advantages of email marketing. In these explanations, I will use statistics.

Key Steps Before Implementing an Online Marketing Plan

You Have a Website; Now How Do You Attract New Clients?
Having a website doesn't do much for your business if no one visits it. Try these initial steps to marketing your website online.

Whether a big corporation or a solo-entrepreneurship, there is likelihood some form of online presence is necessary. And for anyone dealing in business to consumer (B2C) space, a website can even be the business.

So you get a new website build, but what about getting qualified potential customers to it?
The truth is, traffic is the life blood of any business website and not having any can be very harmful to the bottom line.

This is where on-site SEO, off-site SEO, paid efforts, content marketing and social marketing can all work together (and should) for a complete online marketing approach.

What makes one component necessary is often the ability of the business owner to perform it. That can mean hiring marketing professionals, taking the time to attempt it themselves, or having a solid budget for paid methods and experts to navigate them for you.

Social Network - Facebook Marketing

It's 2017 and Facebook is still the largest social network on the planet. With over 1.2 billion active users, out of which almost 65% log in daily to this gigantic platform, Facebook was not at all famous back when it launched. A decade ago, there were no more than a few million people using Mark Zuckerberg's experiment of a social network. A decade ago, nobody expected Facebook to be a global success.

Is something going to stop it from growing at an even faster rate? With the momentum Facebook has been having over the last 5 years, do you think anything will stop it? The shocking answer is "almost definitely no", because Facebook is here to stay. Any social network or online platform with a user base that large will probably never go down, but simply adapt, instead.

Nine Benefits of Web Blogging for Small Businesses

Small business owners often ask me, "Should I create a blog?" Or say, "I'm busy enough. And what should I write about?"

For my business, I've seen the difference that blogging makes to building trust, reputation, website visitors, and ultimately sales. And I'm not alone. Clients tell me that they've generated business from blogging as it's an excellent way to introduce your services while providing honest and valuable information.

What is blogging?
The word Blog is a short form for web log and is a frequently updated part of your website. It is a place to provide useful information related to your business, industry, opinions and passions. It's important to be regular and consistent, but don't aim for too much. Create the habit of writing a simple blog post per week or month (or get someone to do it for you) and build it from there.

Why should I bother?
Here are nine benefits of starting a blog for your business. Pay particular attention to the bonus tips at the end.

5 Steps to Get to Know Your Target Market

There is a big chance that the target market you are looking for is similar to yourself. After all, you are probably into a subject that really rings your bell and that's why you want to spread the word. Like us; we are learning about online marketing and defining our target market so that what we write, actually reaches the people who might find it useful. It really all comes down to these 5 steps to get to know your target market.

1. Who are they?
Since people are all over the place with their interests, and in the online world the common demographics are not that useful anymore, we must think differently. Bring your audience to life in your imagination. A good way to get a first feel for things is to think of their personality traits. For instance, you can use the DISC method to assess yourself and think about what pushes your buttons. Then compare this to who it is you think that will be your audience. See where you are at by finding a free online DISC test.

Keep asking questions. Are they young or old? What is it that makes your heart beat faster? Do they consider wealth and freedom the highest good? Are they more into health or sustainability? Would they have a specific skill set like computer programming, maths, painting, or singing?

Why Is Video Marketing So Big?

Whether you currently possess or plan to start, a business online or off, it would be wise to incorporate marketing video into your marketing plan. Video marketing is taking the business world by storm and is only poised to grow.

Why Is Video Marketing So Big? Let's explore that.

Whatever solution you give, whichever products you sell, you simply should go where the clients are, and they are on the internet in astounding numbers. The internet has grown exponentially since it became a staple in homes in the 1990s. It has become an important, ever-expanding market, giving brick-and-mortar stores a run for their money, if not putting them out of business, sometimes.

Think about video rental stores (Blockbusters for example), along with book stores as well as music shops which have actually all decreased in physical numbers in the face of online competitors. Also, whether your business is housed online or off, chances are good that you have a website. Why does that matter? Websites need traffic, period.

It has been forecast that by the end of this year, three-quarters of all internet traffic will come from consumers watching a video.

Do I have your attention now? Video Boosts Conversions and Sales

In this technologically driven day and age, many consumers who use to read the local newspaper ads for product and price feedback, now look to the internet for pre-purchase information. Research suggests that at least 40% of all consumers will browse the world-wide web before making any financial decision to purchase an item either from online or from a store in your local high street or shopping mall etc.

A video is that influential.
