6 Ways to Improve Your Email’s Subject Lines
Email marketing campaigns are a great way to get
more eyes on your small business newsletter or website since you can reach thousands of people
at once. However, your campaign won’t be successful if nobody opens your
message. According to Madison Logic, over 122 billion emails are sent an hour,
so knowing how to stand out from the crowd is important.
Your email’s headline is arguably the most important part of
the message since it’s the part readers will see first and make a split-second
decision whether opening the message is worth their time. Headlines that aren’t
interesting will quickly be marked as read or deleted. In fact, copywriter
coach Chris Marlow claims that studies have proven that headlines are responsible
for 50-75% of an ad’s success.

Make Emails Work for Your Small Business

still can be a frightening thing to do. A well-written cold email could be the
key you need to get into contact with employers, celebrities, speakers, and
just about anyone else you want to contact. You might be trying to reach out to
one particular person you want to partner with or you might be trying to sell
your product to two dozen people you met at a conference. Either way, cold
emails are a fast and simple way of communication.

Unfortunately, it is often very difficult to find a way to
get somebody to notice your email amongst dozens of other messages. Most people
have countless spam emails in their inbox that they never read and they might
disregard your email in the same way. Here are some tips you can use to make
cold emails work for you:

Re-Engage Your Email Subscribers
The point of an email list is to engage with the people on it, and to build a relationship with each person. Ultimately the point of the relationship is to make sales - either to the person on the list, or through them to people they know.
That said, if a person on your list is not engaging with you
by at least opening your emails (hopefully reading the content and clicking on
the links) at least some of the time, you're wasting your effort and their time
by continuing to email them. You should periodically "wash" your
email list by attempting to re-engage with the individuals and, if that doesn't
work, removing them from your list. A small, dedicated and engaged audience is
better than a larger audience that doesn't give a damn about you.

Email Marketing: Do You Want To Triple Your Return On Investment?
One of the biggest mistakes most marketers do nowadays, is
think email marketing is dead. Many marketers today drop the email marketing
scheme to go with social media. Come to think of it, social media look much
more sexy than email. But, is a social media post really as effective as an
email? Before we answer that question, lets state a well-known fact. It is
easier to send a friend request on Facebook than to collect an email online.
But believe me, email marketing is thrice as worth it as social media marketing.
So, what is email marketing?
Email marketing is the targeting of customers through
emails. Every emails sent to a potential customers can be considered as email
marketing. Email marketing involves sending a promotional email or an ad to a
subscriber. Via his email address. A great deal of organisations today use
email marketing. Even more bloggers do use email marketing today than ever
before. For example, have you ever been browsing on a website, and you see some
field where you are asked to submit your name and email to get a free eBook or
update? That is the front part of email marketing.
Most bloggers use email marketing because it enhances the
customer experience. With a well targeted email list, you can reach established
customers and prospective ones too. Any given subscriber will be informed
better and more easily via email. The email will have a greater visibility than
a Facebook post. The Facebook post will be drowned in a stream of content in
the minutes following its posting.
Do You Really Need
Email Marketing?
If you want to improve your customers' or readers'
experience, then you need email marketing. Forget about the glamour and the
flashy of social media marketing. We are talking efficiency here. We are
talking greater engagement. Greater reach. Greater click through rate and more. As many
experienced marketers say, " the money is in the list". Some even say
"your net worth depends on your network". In the following lines, I
will explain the advantages of email marketing. In these explanations, I will use
statistics.

Effective Email Marketing in Seven Steps
Email marketing is an effective way to keep in touch with
your existing customers, prospects, and networking contacts. When partnered
with a strong inbound marketing program (including local SEO and social media),
it's a great tool to generate new leads and revenue, thereby growing your
business.
However, in order to be as powerful as it can be, you'll want to design your email marketing campaign in such a way that it 1) gets through the spam and junk filters of your recipients, 2) is compelling enough to be opened and read, and 3) incites action and qualifies a lead (i.e., a phone call or email reply).

Email Marketing: Are You Actively Engaging Your Customers?
In today's marketplace, you need to be a bit more creative
than your competition to ensure you're driving sales. Let's face it, if you're
selling tangible goods, from a retail storefront, you've got to do all you can
do to make certain, those customers return.
Honestly, pretty much anything you sell, could likely be
found online. And, quite often, the price of the goods will be less than what
you are selling for, and can be shipped to their doorstep in a matter of days.
So, other than instant gratification for the purchase, what are you doing to
bring them in and keep them coming?
You may have an appealing looking establishment, great
products and a friendly staff, which is all good, but, what else do you have
going for you? You really need to engage your customers. One great way to do
that is have an email signup sheet on the counter. Let them know that those on
the email list will get special promotions, early notifications of sales and,
at times, special discounts. Make certain that they know that you protect their
privacy and will never share their information with anybody.

7 Tips For Great Email Subject Lines
Writing relevant email headlines are crucial for getting
people to read what you have to say. Get these wrong and your open rates will
be very poor indeed. People need to open your emails to read and gain value
from what's inside. So, here are seven tips to help you to come up with
powerful and effective email headlines...
Tip #1: Keep the line length short. I've played around with
subject line length and have concluded that the longer they are the less effective
they become when it comes to email open rates.
Here's what I've found: the ideal subject line length is
between two and five words. Five words are at the top end of subject line
length. If at all possible, use four words rather than five as that tends to be
more effective.
In fact, a subject line length of just two words is often
the most effective in boosting email open rates.

Email Marketing: How to Build Your Email List
Most of the time when someone asks how to grow their email list what they're really asking is, "How can I get 1,000 people on my list this month so I can hurry up and start selling to them?" Most people won't admit that, but honestly, if I could give one secret tip that would answer that question wouldn't you go for it in a heartbeat?
The truth of the
matter is, the very nature of a successful email list has nothing to do with
its size. It has to do with the engagement and loyalty of the people on that
list. And getting loyalty and engagement takes time, attention and quality
content.
There are several
things you need to do off the bat to make sure you're giving people every
opportunity possible to opt-in to your list. It isn't easy to get someone's
email address. It's your job to make opting in to your list easy and
compelling.

Email Marketing Practices For More Leads
You can under no circumstances have enough, leads that is. E-mail marketing may perfectly be considered one of the most standard or traditional tools in website marketing. But it still is one of the mainly effective ways for any marketer to gain leads and potential customers for their online businesses. Like most tools out there, it's how you use all of them that matters. Here are some ideas which you can use to boost your e-mail marketing success.
1. Increasing Open Rates.
Want to boost your open rates? Well, give them a cause to do
so. By saying the benefit that they can obtain from reading your message, you
can boost your open rates as much as 50%! Take this for example, "Free
Shipping for Buys above $15 (Before The Month's End ONLY!)" or "FREE
Coupon Worth $$$ Inside" Bear in mind, your e-mail subject lines might
always be related to your content. It could even be more successful if you can
put in something that brings about some sense of great importance and urgency.
2. Limiting Typefaces.

Why Is Building An Email List So Important?
An email list is the bread and butter of an online business.
It's a collected list of email addresses of customers and prospects that have
filled out a form to receive your messages. These email addresses are collected
into a database that allows you to easily send out messages both immediately
and automated to all the people on your list, or specific ones that you choose.
So why is building an email list so important?
1. You Get Permission
When you get someone to join your email list, you are
basically getting permission to communicate and continue marketing to them via
email. By subscribing, they are telling you that they want to hear from you and
what you have to offer.
2. You Own Your Email List

Effective Email Marketing
If you own a website, then the next best thing you need to
do is to build rapport with the visitors of your website. You do this by
investing in email marketing. Email marketing is all about sending commercial
email messages to a group of people who have given their permission to receive
those emails.
Email marketing can help turn a visitor to your site into a
potential customer. A visitor to your site may be looking for information
related to his/her problems. He/she may read an article on your website that
addresses the problem. If your website is selling a product or service that
helps to alleviate the problem, then the visitor may buy the product or service
you are offering to help them overcome their problem. There are many factors
that affect the customer's decision on purchasing your product. It may be due
to the price or the problem they are facing may not be that severe (i.e. they
could do something to get temporary relief from the problem). Either way, Email
Marketing is designed to let potential customers know that your website is
offering information that addresses their need or problem.
