6 ways LinkedIn will help your business

LinkedIn is one of the niche social media channels and it is designed as a professional networking tool as opposed to the personal and more informal platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest and even Twitter. Small to mid range companies in particular find it extremely effective in creating a solid network and business relationships that will increase their share of the market.

But how does a platform geared towards making business connections work in terms of promoting your business?  We’re going to look at six strategies that will ensure your LinkedIn presence truly pays off.

1. Make Valuable Connections
Like any social networking site, the ultimate goal of LinkedIn is to connect people. Giving you access to new leads or new business associates will help bring about potential opportunities you may have not had access to. Get started by searching for friends and associates based on your email contacts but by no means stop there. You want to get to know people you don’t already know. Start looking at LinkedIn Groups and connect to people in your industry or your location.  You can also use the Advanced Search option to target a specific market and find people, companies and industries of interest by keyword.  You can also search for specific companies and job titles should you aim to market your products or services to a very specific audience.

How To Market Your Business On LinkedIn

LinkedIn is one of my favourite social media platforms, for the easy reason that real, interpersonal networking occurs here. LinkedIn focuses on the construction of relationships, professional business relationships that are made to last while most other social media websites are automated. Should you want to learn the best way to sell on LinkedIn, you should follow this principle to start with. Of course there are many other factors that need to be considered and this is exactly why I've come to compose this post. I want you to understand the power and also the growth potential of your company using LinkedIn to grow relationships and sell your products and services to the people who grow to like and trust you. This platform is especially great for when you are a B2B seller, but if you are encouraging something to the average Joe, then this can work for you too. I am also going to explain to you just how to discover the right prospects for you. Then I'll show you precisely how to join with them without looking in the manner of a salesperson.

Understand Your Intended Market

Knowing how to sell on LinkedIn is fantastic, but you'll not make a dime if you do not know how to find the right people to sell to it doesn't matter how good your sales abilities are.

7 Tips To Grow Sales Using Social Media

Social media has become a selling force for the marketing world and marketers are taking a great advantage of it. Recent survey shows that about 75% of sales and purchase decisions are done through social media evaluations in one way or the other. Even the way we do business and maintain customer relationship has changed drastically within the last few years all because of social media.

The traditional way of selling both offline and online has changed from email marketing, networking, phone calls and face to face discussions to almost complete social media selling. That been said doesn't mean our traditional ways of selling are no longer good or in use but, we rather make better use of them combining social media selling information and experiments to grow sales using social media.

Great LinkedIn Strategies That Really Work

Most likely, you understand the value of LinkedIn (at least, to some extent) and you are trying to use it as much as possible for your business. That may or may not be working very well for you. It really all depends on what you are doing and how those features apply to your particular business. However, there are some less-well-known features and tricks that may work extremely well for you. They are, in many cases, a well-kept secret.
